Taking Aspirin at Night May Boost Heart Benefits

Connie's Corner

This is an interesting study from the the Netherlands that looked at the timing of Aspirin therapy and prevention of heart attacks and strokes. Taking aspirin at night versus in the morning gives greater protection from cardiovascular events that are more likely to happen in the morning when platelet activity is the most active. It seems to me that taking fish oil at night might also be beneficial since it has a similar effect of preventing platelet clumping.
