ABOUT OUR PRACTICE

We are a locally owned, small medical office located in Central Austin, in operation since 1998. We offer integrative medical care as a fee for service practice. Our four practitioners understand the need to tailor treatments that fit each person's beliefs and lifestyle desires. We have an acupuncturist on our team, a nutrition counselor and a user-friendly weight loss program with personal coaches.


GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

Organize and coordinate office administration and procedures that ensure organizational efficiency, a customer and employee friendly environment, and health and safety requirements. Responsible for supervision of all operational activities.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Daily interaction with and support of staff and practitioners to make sure the office runs smoothly daily
  • Manage employees, technical and nursing support activities of the office
  • Implement practice-specific customer service, human resources and financial goals/objective consistent with our overall plan and goals
  • Develop and implement clinic-specific policies, procedures, and programs and monitor adherence to them
  • Supervise clinical staff and allocation of resources in order to meet demand for services with available staff and recommend changes as appropriate
  • Assist owner with performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, staff training/development promoting teamwork and fostering a positive work environment
  • Manage and resolve clinic safety and risk management issues
  • Address patient care or service complaints to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Adhere to all medical requirements including OSHA, HIPAA, compliance and Code of Conduct
  • Regular and dependable attendance
  • Performs other duties as assigned

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATIONAL PREPARATION

  • Two or more years of experience working in the office of a clinic or similar health care related setting required.
  • Two or more years of supervisory or lead experience, required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business or related field, preferred.

 

JOB DETAILS

  • Full time position, 8 hours/day, Mon-Friday
  • Salary commensurate with experience
